Drills-

Should be done in the distance of about 50 meters

Stretches

Hold all stretches for 15 seconds

Walking Drills

  • Super Marios
  • Butt Kicks
  • Lunges
  • Toe Walks
  • Heel Walks
  • Frankensteins (leg Extensions)

 

Skipping Drills

  • Super Marios
  • High Knees
  • Butt Kicks
  • Carioca (grape vine)

Standing

  • Calf Stretch (right over left, left over right)

 

Sitting

  • Hurdle stretch
  • Butterflies
  • Figure Fours
  • Up & Overs
  • Quads
  • Arms

 

Monday April 27th Track Practice 

Warm Up

  • ½ mile jog or 5 min jog

 

  • Walking Drills

 

  • Skipping Drills

 

Workout

Sprinters

  • 4x30 meter sprints
  • 25 minute run

 

Distance

  • 2-4 mile run

 

Cool Down

  • ½ mile jog or 5 min jog
  • Stretch

Tuesday April 28th Track Practice

Warm Up

  • ½ mile jog or 5 min jog
  • Walking Drills
  • Skipping Drills

 

Workout

  • Today is a Meet Day! Choose a few running events (up to 4) and time yourself.  Do your best to measure the distance.
    • Don’t forget to email me your times :-)

Cool Down

  • ½ mile jog or 5 min jog
  • Stretch

Wednesday April 29th

  • We do not practice on Wednesdays, however, use today as an active recovery day and do a 20 min light jog or walk

Thursday  April 30th Track Practice          

Warm Up

  • ½ mile jog or 5 min jog

  • Skipping Drills

  • 6x400 meter sprints- only 90 second rest in between
  • Today is Ice cream relays day! If you complete this workout, email me that it has been completed and you will get a special prize mailed to you from Coach Milner

Friday May 1st Track Practice
