Canvas Information

Parents and Guardians:

Canvas has changed the way parents sign up to participate as observers of your students. If you already have a Canvas account and are observing your student(s), you do not need to do anything extra. If you are new to Canvas or need to link another student to your account, this information is for you!

In order to sign up for a new parent observer Canvas account or to link additional students to your existing account, you now need a student pairing code. This code can be generated from your student’s account. For directions to guide you in signing up for a Canvas account and/or linking students so you can observe them, please use the links on the Technology page on the district website (Go to and find Technology under the Education & Support menu.)

Thank you for your patience as we work through this new process! If you have any questions or need help with Canvas, please contact Angela Anthony at or (630) 876-7820 x3300.
